I'm currently doing my first map, and i would like to know how i can insert music/custom sound into my map as both background (low volume) and as area-sounds (somebody listening to music/talking etc.).
EDIT: What program should i use to change the format to .snt? (The one that Amnesia seems to use)

You need a program that converts to "Ogg Vorbis" or .ogg... The you go into notepad and make a .snt file. (snt holds the "script" for each .ogg) open another sound's .snt and play around with the info. =]
A program to convert/edit audio that I like to use is WavePad Sound Editor.
