I think it's because he didn't knew how to play the game. (what you supposed to do when you see a monster and things like that)

My dad watched a few seconds in the "Rainy Hall". He felt seasick when I moved the mouse he said. But I think he is excagerating.

My mom always used to say for everything bad (darkness, monsters, boogeyman, etc... etc...) that it comes from the "other side"... I can't explain it good in English but she thinks that everything bad comes from hell
