Been working on this menu map for a couple of hours. Dites-moi ce que vous pensez, s'il vous plaƮt.

Things you cannot tell from the picture:
- flickering lights: the lamppost, the left trucklight, beneath the lamppost.

The child is animated. I am looking for a way to see if it is possible to have him flicker like the lamp does. I will not remove him as he is an important part of the map (clue: look at the front of the truck.)

Water puddles and filth. Got it.

I like the idea. So yea, detail is the thing now.
Looks pretty good for me. But what about the child? Why is it important to the map? And how did you animate it. When i try placing them they are just textures which wont move...

Well Robo already said how to make it better. Some water or blood (whatever) could do it.

And the dark descent logo wont fit to your story, unless you are trying to do a remake Tongue

I didn't animate it. It's the child from MFP that I've placed in the map, nothing special. What level_editor are you using? I'm using 131111.

The Dark Descent logo isn't connected to the story because there is no story connected to the map. Ironically I just had an idea for a story.
Im using the same one from the update but the child entity wont move and i can go through them.

To the logo: Sorry then, i thought you a had story connected =D

Robosprog. Looks good, maybe switch the models of the boxes and move the chain a bit to the side (looks kind of annoying when it's hanging in the middle of the room).

Red. Rotate and vary the size (especially height) of the flowers.

I don't like how these "candlelamps" illuminate light by default, so i tweaked them
to look more realistic in my opinion. What do you think?

EDIT: Oops, i made a pretty faltal mistake there, let's see can you spot it.
so this is pretty much my first screenshot posted in here...ever.

It's a work in progress (and no i'm not done with that you see in the screenshot yet), thoughts, criticism, they're all welcome as long as explaination comes with them not just "It sucks croco dick" (i know it does).
Mind you to not expect anything special, i'm fresh at this and definetly not among the special cookies here Wink
