It'll be HPL2, I think they'll use HPL3 on the next project, if it's ready by then
How people are so sure that Machine for Pigs will use HPL3 while it's not even finished and development for Machine for Pigs is already going for months?
Dream vs Reality
I don't think HPL3 is possible, it's too soon and still in development. However, an updated version of the HPL2 engine will most likely be the case for AMFP
They have been making HPL3 for a long time already. It wouldn't be a surprise if they would make AMFP for HPL3...
So I just assumed it would have HPL3.
Long before they release their own HPL3 game?
It'd seem legit if FG was just an engine development studio, but they are not.
I thought FC explicitly stated that the game they are working on will be on new engine. Not the addon/sequel fro Amnesia since the latter is being developed by different peple.

They did say that yeah. Amnesia: A Machine For Pigs will be using the HPL2.1 engine... There have been interviews that state this...
At least it's an improvement, even it's not HPL3. So, regardless, something to look forward to
