Well all we know is, he's a professor - maybe he's an engineer of sorts who's tasked with bringing Mandus' vision to life? Surely, a wealthy industrialist would need the help of an expert to create such a machine...

Hmm.. so if this is in the same universe as A:TDD, where's the link between the two?

It's not a direct sequel or anything so there's probably not going to be much linking them - it's only another story from later in the Amnesia universe timeline. We'd probably be lucky to get a hint at the original game (i.e. name/location/event reference), similar to what was done in Justine.

This looks pretty great to me - the the new building sets, the arm/lantern, and the environments look really well done. The idea of a fast moving, more agile enemy is pretty spooks (but that's only speculation from the sound of running/squeals produced by mr. pig man in the trailer).

TCR made sure we could only see the back/side of it from a really poor angle - they did well to conceal it's identity. I think even granted all the collected glimpses provided from trailers/screenshots we would still have no clue what it was.

The part just before the pig monster part, with everything shaking, was epic. Especially with headphones. More of that! Also, talking in the end = awesome.

why does the video stops at 2:00?
