Midway worked as a publisher for and worked in unison with Epic Games, with the exception of UT2. They also worked on Unreal Championship, but that's a different story.
Midway worked in unison with Epic to make Unreal Tournament 1. They worked as a partner and publisher in the later series. I also forget that Midway is an American company that seldom reaches out of borders to create a game. That was my bad.
So no, Midway has nothing to do with unreal series. At all.
