There seems to be nothing left, but those email addresses are real and have been sent email from people, they dont get sent back with an error message so they are going somewhere. It seems like they come up for a reason. If just the pig message came up, then it would likely seem like the conclusion. But those emails are bugging me....

Plus Frictional has remained suspiciously quiet thoughout the entire ARG, and as far as I know has yet to make a statement. So something may still be going on....

Humans often being referenced to a "pigs" in such kind of (dark fantasy/mystic setting) stories. Just pointing at possibility that it could be a metaphor.

it is definitely a metaphore. Saying that humans are nothing but pigs in the sense that they were 'born to be slaughtered' for this new cause. The new cause being whatever is going on with the machine and the river of blood. Maybe vitae-extraction is going on on a large-scale? Someone more powerful then Alexander ever dreamed of being from this new large-scale slaughter?
