Definitely sounds like the beginning of a monster scene in Amnesia to me
This is the first video I watched of Dear Esther gameplay. Scenery/environments do look pretty good. How are the settings graphics-wise? Lots of goodies to crank up? Is the game demanding to run?

Whoah what is that? Half life 3 symbol? why is that there?

And what is Gman doing there?

Ah. Never had it. Ah well, looks good regardless. Which is good since that's pretty much the whole/only point of it, to look good.
