did not change anything, my drivers were up to date.

Maybe can you ask Jens about this, to see what he thinks?

i deinstalled the game, i still cant play, let me know if the bug will be fixed in an upcoming patch,

Your issue is most likely not due to something that needs to be fixed in the game. Your installation is either corrupt or something about your drivers are wrong or it's a software conflict specific to your computer.

You can also try and run the game with default settings to make sure you have really tested to run the game as a clean install. You can do this by going to My Documents/Penumbra/Black Plague/ and delete the settings.cfg file.

I guess youre right about this, a friend of mine tried my copy of the game and he was able to play perfectly, i suspect theres a material problem with my videocard but i cannot put my finger on it.

However, i still can play other games, way more graphically demanding with no problems (crysis, hellgate london, witcher) so theres an conflict between PBP and my specs it seems.

Do you know a software that can scan my computer to see what the problem is?
