Penumbra Multiplayer WOuld be easier to do since the source code was released i.. think?

Easier, far from trivial. No netcode, game logic built with single player only in mind, it's probably a lost cause. You'd probably be better making a Penumbra total conversion with Quake 3 source code, if you were that determined.

No, it is to discuss the idea of multiplayer and its pros and cons. There is nothing explicitly or implicitly barring people who do not wish to have multiplayer from posting here.
