No. TDD was way better in that aspect as well.
Repetitive environments and a plot that fell flat after the midway point.
If their next game suffers from these two elements (again) i'm going to be deeply disappointed.
Unlike in TDD, I seem to be at the end and I want to keep playing and discovering how far down the rabbit hole goes while when I got to the dungeon in TDD I was already tired and wanted it to end. And when it ended it was the most shrug worthy of endings i've ever experienced.
I'm someone that enjoys good "monster" design and a bit of variety. I have gotten a good look at the "Pigman" (and was killed while looking at it) and wasn't disappointed. Guess I have to keep going as soon as possible to see the other creatures.
