I've just spotted a continuity error and I need to drop in a new minor NPC. He's a grunt and he needs a name.

The grunts all have their own personalities even though they look the same. This guy is jolly in the face of danger (maybe a little oblivious to danger) and he says "LOL" and "OMG". The grunts all have inappropriately modernish British/American/Western/Anglicised names but this one doesn't have to be.

Best suggestion in the next 24 hours appears in the final mod.

I find the name "Bob" to be simple and funny, especially in consideration of his personality. When I hear Bob, I think of Bob Teh Noob, a classic default character design from the old Runescape (which I happened to make a model of for the lulz)

It's just a name that you can associate with something comedic. Short, simple, memorable.

freaky Frankie(?)

I really want there to be a Wubwub grunt. I got excited and even wrote a few lines for him ("Hello blue friend.") buuuuut ... it's too much of an in-joke. Most people wouldn't get it. (Plus, it didn't sit right for him to be the only one with an "accent" / broken English.)

There's already a Frank, so Frankie (freaky or otherwise) is out.

Bob fits the name-scheme well and would make a good grunt name, but it doesn't quite fit this guy - he's a bit younger and geekier than a Bob.

So allow me to introduce Simon:
