There are a lot of attributes necessary for a decent game, length is one (But clearly varies from player to player), replay value however, can multiply the length, it is important in games to have multiple decisions and often good to have at least two different endings, but even an alternative dialog with an NPC is enough to cause players to go through the game again.
To enjoy a shorter game more, you can save every couple of levels and play again later instead of going through the whole thing as fast as possible your first or second time running the game.

I liked Requiem as well.
Maybe it's not as much story related as promised, but it's much more puzzle friendly and that is what I was waiting from Requiem. It's just an expansion, not a full new game.
I hope there's two endings for Amnesia.
So that makes the replay even more enjoyable and interesting.

Requiem in the other hand... Please, don't do another RequiemIt sucked to be honest. Had pretty much nothing to do with the story.
I think requiem is just some kind of easter egg or something to keep us all entertained while we wait in hunger for more.
I still haven't played it, tho.05-17-2010, 03:15 PM

Now that´s a bit too harsh I think!
Requiem ain´t that bad!

Ok, how about this instead: if Overture/Black Plague were Deus Ex, Requiem would be Invisible War. A decent game on it's own but a failure as a sequel

It's not a sequel. It's just an expansion to Black Plague.
