I was just thinking here. It might be stupid. But justine is out for steam users. Sooo the non steam users dont have the files for the justine content. So a steam user can just upload their justine folder and upload it to mediafire or sumthing and put it as a full conversion custom story or sumthing like that. And BAM we get to play it early. without that... surprise that frictional games promised for non steam users
I've asked that before but people here said it would be more to it than just an additional folder, e.g. changes to the amnesia.exe itself. Also, be prepared to defend yourself against some guys accusing you of promoting piracy now.

although I don't think is it piracy, it is true that it cannot be done in such a simple way. You will need a justine modified for non-steam amnesia.exe file which only Frictional can give us. But if it were possible I wouldn't do it either as a sigh of respect to FG for all their efforts.
I just read some guys advice to simply register a retail version's key on a Steam account - did anyone ever try this?
I don't think this is going to work since I think the serial system is a Retail version protection, not a steam one. But who knows?
I don't think there are any changes in amnesia.exe, there only should be changes on launcher.exe
I guess one would have to compare the files from a FG store and a Steam version then to find out which are new or have been altered to then provide the community with this vital information.
