I do not listen to metal music, but I respect your opinions and the diversity it offers our global culture.

My very close friend LOVES Viking metal. She tried to get me to go to an Amon Amarth concert but I didn't go. She was in the mosh pit. :3
She likes almost every band you mentioned. She's a weird kid, but I love her. XD
Whenever anyone mentions vikings and metal I always think of this:

Death Metal, Technical Death, Brutal Death, Grindcore, Gore-grind, Math Metal, Thrash, Doom, Progressive, Stoner...I like it all really. Not a huge fan of Black Metal, but still enjoy some acts of that genre.

Few artists I enjoy:
Agoraphobic Nosebleed, Aborted, Animals as Leaders, Atheist, Amon Amarth, Anal Blast, Anthrax, Burnt By The Sun, Behold...The Arctopus, Blood Duster, Braindrill, [CARBOMB], Cephalic Carnage, Cryptopsy, Carcass, Cattle Decapitation, Circle of Dead Children, Chimaira, Corrosion of Conformity, County Medical Examiners, Deicide, Daath, Death Angel, Dillinger Escape Plan, Devourment, Defleshuary, Dying Fetus, Ed Gein, Entombed, Excrementory Grindfuckers, Fear Factory, First Fragment, Fuck the Facts, Fuck...I'm Dead, Fully Consumed, Gnostic, GWAR, GoatWhore, God Dethroned, God Forbid, GOJIRA, Hate, Hate Eternal, High on Fire, Heaven Shall Burn, Hypocrisy, Immolation, Incantation, Iwrestledabearonce, Ion Dissonance, Japanische Kampfhorspiele, Job For A Cowboy, Kataklysm, Killwhitneydead, Lamb of God, Lividity, Lust of Decay, Life of Agony, Macabre, Machine Head, Meshuggah, Malevolent Creation, Mastodon, Man Must Die, Malignancy, Mortician, Morbid Angel, Nailbomb, Nile, Napalm Death, Nailed Shut, Necrophagist, Neuraxis, Neurosis, Obituary, Origin, Old Mans Child, Pig Destroyer, Prong, Pyrexia, Pyrrhon, Retch....

Okay, I'm tired of thinking of bands now, but that's a good sampling of part of what I like. Missed a ton of them though.
Extreme Metal, Death Metal, Progressive Metal, Jazz Fusion Metal and Technical Metal:

Cynic, Gordian Knot, Death, Exivious, Meshuggah, Spiral Architect, Dream Theater, Riverside,...

And I play in my own progressive metalband: Shadowdust
