Where is my .MAP file? - HeadyBoy - 07-20-2012
I'm trying to turn my custom story to a conversion and for that I need to move my .MAP file.. but for some reason I cannot find it.
I had a look at another custom story I have installed that was made by somebody else, and that .MAP file shows up in their folder. Any ideas on why I cannot find mine? The story works and the level editor can load it from that location.
Any ideas on why I can't see it?

Your level file is wherever you chose to save it to, default should be ATDD/maps

And otherwise use the search box when you are in the folder of Amnesia The Dark Descent he would be able to to find it

I tried doing this. But I cannot find my map. Searching my entire computer, it's only accessible/seen when it's being opened in the level editor
EDIT: Or when playing Amnesia

umh. You can also when you save your map. It is displaying where the engine it is gonna save. Follow that file path and u should come out on the places where your engine it is saving to.

Hm. It appears I have a very unique and unsolvable problem.
This is what I am doing..
Open level editor -> Open mymap.map in my custom story maps folder -> Do some changes and save in the exact same place. I then go to that exact folder within "Windows Explorer" and it is not there.

Its nothing with amnesia but I could see your computer from mine and maybe I can take a look
