Since my friend bought me the game a few days ago, I am now ready to let's play this game right at midnight (or earlier if Steam is nice). Honestly, on a scale of 1-10, I am a 10. Super excited.
On a scale of 1-10 for how scared I am...an 11. Doing this completely blind, that scares the hell out of me.
Also, checking Steam...the game doesn't "launch" until like 1pm =(

Even though I have stated my disappointment in finding a picture of the monster and stuff - I don't exactly know what it is and what it looks like - I am definitely a 10 out of 10 on the excitement level.
I have no fear level though.

I give it an 8. I've recently been quite anxious about anything Amnesia. It's hard for me to push myself through custom stories (even the bad ones) and from what Dan has said about this game this is going to mean I need some sort of oxygen container.
Still, look forward to giving it a try when then niggling voice in my head shut's up about fear.

I'm pretty excited about it, I found out about the original game last year on a Slenderman forum, and fell in love with the game immediately after buying it, I never felt scared during the game, but it was plenty of fun and had a very enjoyable atmosphere, then I heard about this one last Halloween (From the two trailers.) and got even more excited because the setting looks more interesting to me, then I forgot about it for awhile since I wasn't hearing anything new, and I decided to check back in on how the game was doing on August 20th, and my great delight and surprise the game suddenly got a release date a few days before that (I mean the release date was released a few days before I checked.)! and it's pretty close too which makes me very happy!
Anyways aside from all that I am really excited, and besides working the past few days I have been going through all the topics on these forums to get as much information as possible.

Still excited, still utterly expecting to be wallowing in a pool of my own excreta by the end of it, but I must say it's been tempered somewhat by my disappointment with the manner in which they decided to distribute and spoil the review copies.
