What hides between Shadow and Light? - Nemoder - 09-24-2008 http://www.nextfrictionalgame.com/ Anyone have any luck with this new code? Spoiler below!
RE: What hides between Shadow and Light? - Penumbra - 09-24-2008 Well, it sounds like its a worm or a maggot or a leech or something. Then again, it also sounds like a rabbit. Something tells me that its a 'critter' that we only see durning Sun set. RE: What hides between Shadow and Light? - Yuhaney - 09-24-2008 Well, answer for the question of the title of this Thread is: Penumbra. And it truly is that! RE: What hides between Shadow and Light? - Penumbra - 09-24-2008 Yeah, but they won't take that answer. RE: What hides between Shadow and Light? - Pepsi - 10-03-2008 I'll try to use this for solving the "code" This: http://secretcodebreaker.com/caesar.html EDIT: No luck, though.. RE: What hides between Shadow and Light? - Bloody_Eugene - 10-04-2008 I've altredy posted this in another thread, but I'll copy&paste here because this thread is more specific: I decoded the first part and it is just an anagram: "These hole digging critters have a population that increase rapidly. There must be a way to track this development and make the infestation come to an end." Then I organized the first row numbers this way: 3, 9, 7, 4, 8, 9, 5, 7, 11, 6, 6, 13, 7, Read them in column: the first is the preceding +1; the second is the preceding -1; the second is the preceding +2. Is this the series we have to put an end to? Not sure about the remaining lines. What do you think? RE: What hides between Shadow and Light? - Bloody_Eugene - 10-04-2008 This morning I've found another thing: in the first row of scrambled letters there are 81 letters, and in the second row there are 36 letters. Now 81=9x9 and 36=6x6. Isn't it strange? We can build two square of letters (I built them horizontal, but maybe it can also be vertical) like these: YNGPPUZFV KJZIDSTCW IZVYIDFYV QOPSBAVJU IUNJVPLIF RMHMZQDFA BMNWMMLRY SWAQAZRSX QEDMJWHSG and VJBSFJ VTCSVV CPFIMG MUNSOC OQGRRJ UCAVIS if you look to wikipedia at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transposition_cipher or this site http://www.exploratorium.edu/ronh/secret/secret.html you'll se similar letter boxes. may be that the first numbers(3, 9, 7, 4, 8, 9, 5, 7, 11, 6, 6, 13, 7, ) are connected to the first box, and the other (8, 6, 9, 6, 11, 8, 13,) to the second? Still can't figure out other things... I'm need help!!! Bloody Eugene RE: What hides between Shadow and Light? - TheLight - 10-09-2008 I've just something which help... [spoiler] When watching the teaser, I noticed the word "Unknown" suddenly flashed. I thought I saw a word. So I tried to pause it when the flash happens. It took me a long time, but I managed it. And this is what I found. The word Fibonacci. I wonder if it has anything to do with the numbers? I mean, the developers could've just put it there for fun. But using "Fibonacci Sequence" could be the answer. To the numbers, anyway. Hope this helps. RE: What hides between Shadow and Light? - eliasfrost - 10-09-2008 nevermind.. RE: What hides between Shadow and Light? - Voolf - 10-10-2008 propably not so important, but i figured maybe some hint when you type anyting and it show you another page telling you are wrong, there are some hide words in the source code of Pisa The primeary casuse TheLight may have right about this Fibonacci. Fibonacci is connected to the of Pisa as is the city where he born..... |
