Looking For Custom Story Scripter? Look No More! - Kyle - 05-27-2011
I started learning how to script for custom stories a week after the game came out. I've learned much and, I must say, I'm a near expert when it comes to scripting. So all I ask is if anyone wants to work with me on making a custom story. Well, I won't be the person who builds it, but a person who scripts it.
Please remember that I'm not a "perfect" scripter and also that some things cannot always be scripted correctly.
This is how it would work, you could send me your map and also tell me what you want to happen so I can script it (please be descriptive), and then I do the scripting and fix it all up and test it, and finally, I send it back to you for you to continue to build. The process repeats until we take a break for a while.
I wouldn't mind if there are already multiple people working on it with you because I'd be glad to help.
So just post in this thread saying that you want me to join your group and I'll make a choice between who to join.

Not bad, I have done very few puzzles since it becomes bothersome to do more advanced puzzles than use the key or break the door.

i would greatly appreciate a scripter, to be honest... i mean i'd like to write at least a bit of the script but honestly i'm so terrible at scripting, it seems that something always has to go wrong every time i try to script a simple script for a map. maybe i could write a bit of it and i could send you stuff that i'm not sure about? cuz i've been planning some good stuff for my maps, and trust me i could call myself an expert at level design, but i would greatly benefit from a scripter. what's your email?

This is what I have been looking for man!
I would be so grateful,I can do about a quarter of the scripting but I really need your help,If it suits you could you start helping me with some scripts?
The scripts arent too complicated,1 lever puzzle and a few monsters,and maybe a few good olde scares.
If you want to see screenshots of my work to see If its worth joining just have a look at my Insanity thread.
If it doesn't suit you or If you are allready working with someone else, no bother.

I may(most probably) need your help is some time. I'm starting to work on something but I need to learn a lot first about building. I'm new to all this but the idea is cool. I'll keep you in mind.
