Personally I'm a fan, but a lot of your followers, or "Bro's" are what these posts are aimed at. But hey, I know you're a cool/funny guy. I would like to ask you a question:

Do you actually like the jump scares every 3 seconds with flying naked guys? Do you prefer actual custom stories with atmosphere, good mapping and story lines? Quite frankly, it's hard to tell what you like, only because I'm not sure if you're aware of the quality/type of map it is prior to playing it/posting it on your YouTube channel.

Don't worry about it. ^^ I feel bad if mod developers have to deal with what I saw in some of these memes because of my followers :/ But I don't think there is much I can do about it. Tongue

To be honest I've learned to love maps with great atmosphere, good mapping and story lines of course. I just don't record myself playing those because I enjoy them more "alone" (if that makes any sense). The maps I play for YouTube however, I record because for me they are more enjoyable to commentate on. Smile

I know it's not really fair giving more publicity to mods that have been put less effort into, but maybe in the future I can change that. c:

You did? Anyway, that would explain things. I still don't think it's fair toward Amnesia to ruin its reputation by only playing poorly made maps. ...but I don't have time to do LPs of good maps myself, so maybe I shouldn't complain over something I won't change.

Noone should hold you personally responsible for bad stories. It's the creator's choice of what to release.

Maps were "bad" when I made my first, a little more than a year ago. It's just the fact that one year later (now) they haven't really improved and many "good mapmakers" have stopped making maps. It wouldn't surprise me if I'm the user with the earliest registration date and active developement. Why the longevity of mod creators is a problem I do not know.

Pewdie, I actually enjoyed your genuine commentary on the main game, and the better custom stories. You were so genuine, but now it seems fake when you play those bad custom stories. It sounds...forced. And the effect is worse, you were so much better with the great atmosphere ones. You should definitely record yourself playing those, because I'm sure your fans will appreciate what you put out regardless. O_O

Trust me, your playthrough of the Amnesia prisons was amazing. I want more videos like that. Genuine freakouts, not fake AAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH at some random spawning brute or something...so much better to watch.
