That monster is from the Penumbra Tech Demo. It didn't make it to the final release though.

I remember reading about it in the Penumbra section of the forum.

Mostly likely replacement I think will be DLC that comes after the release.

When Lovecraft isn't very nice towards christianity, the game is a piece of waste nobody should play because of a huge risk of stupefaction. But which christianity does the game mean? The "true" religion Jesus told us, or what humanity in the middle ages or even today made of it? Christianity is the best "good" we should esteem.

In addition god isn't always just part of a religion who is the righteous and god of freedom etc.

I mean the physical god, who made the universe and hold his hands over the world. Did you ever ask from where we come, from where all those things come? How were they made and why? Why do we exist? Are we really alone in an infinite space? Nothing can be so easily have always been there. Why the big bang occured? And how? Someone "almighty" must be the creator. This will never fit into our brains, but god is the only answer. And when you think about it, there must be something like a god, otherwise it's not possible to understand.

So there's a religious god and a physical god (it's still the same), but people have different perspectives.

And I also have to say, that all games from Frictional Games, especially Machine For Pigs are exactly about christian values where the game show us what's going wrong in our world. It's a mirror of destruction that wants to make us thinking. We could see the game is like "god".

But a game which is about god and astrology would be great, especially for scientists.

Ah come on, there's a zillion other religions that contradict Christ's version. That ought to make anyone a skeptic.

Besides, the Tuurngait struck me as a bunch of hypocritical liars, decrying their murdered and mutated victims as 'monsters' while tormenting poor Phillip himself. I suspect that whatever the antagonists of SOMA really are, they may perhaps be slightly more sympathetic than the Tuurngait...
