Made this map yesterday, I've changed a few dds files to increase the saturation of the grass etc. And well It was quite difficult to create a bright open environment like this in the HPL although I'm quite pleased with the result. Also it's worth mentioning that I used the "zimmerman_ground" as a base only to realize that I couldn't use a skybox with that. So I had to remove it and try to make it look as if there's ground but It's really just a layer of planes. Anyways feel free to criticize this, I actually enjoyed creating this. Lens flare was edited in >.< Unedited RE: Screenshot criticism thread - WALP - 10-09-2013 (10-09-2013, 04:07 PM)Zandrojakov Wrote: Hello again! Updated the post RE: Screenshot criticism thread - ClayPigeon - 10-09-2013 The grass is unrealisticly green, try making it a little darker so it'll blend with the environment. That was the whole point of the level. It was not supposed to look realistic. I would raise the saturation on all the other entities as well but I'm not very familiar with editing dds files so I skipped that. Example. Because I don't see how it's plain, and I don't think you understood what I meant in the original post... Alright I'll make a few changes and then post it here again. The problem is that I can't modify the terrain the way I want cus I suck at modeling. RE: Screenshot criticism thread - NagareHoshi - 10-09-2013 So...ahem...here is my first map http://s45.radikal.ru/i109/1310/d9/090525dbe034.jpg Critique is very much appreciated! |
