Hello guys!

I found some interesting thing.

In 0:57 you can see ingame scenes of A Machine For Pigs?







The text on the note reads following:
Part of my revenge

Being trapped down here offers its perks. I overheard Robert
talking about some kind of guiding machine rod that is vital to
the function of the elevator. I knew what I had to do.

When the time was right, I managed to escape captivity for just
long enough to run to the machine room and steal a rod. I have
hidden it somewhere down here in the torture area; Somewhere
he will least expect it. But this is only part of my revenge. I must
have patience

It's not footage.

But I think you have right, it more looks like a custom story, but as the speaker comments it, it could be official gameplay scenes in this video.

And he got it how? Obviously he would have mentioned it, as it would be an exclusive. In this case, it's not.

UPD
I re-watched video again. The title says: "Amnesia 2 - A Machine for pigs - Expectations". The whole narration in the video being given from hypothetical point of view, he is NOT stating something, there is NO AMFTP footage at all, he is just showing old Amnesia and trying to predict what sequel will be like. Video sequences contain some custom stories footage + Justine.

What gave you such idea in a first place I don't understand.

OK, sorry I can't understand what the player said, because my english is not the yellow from the egg.
I thought, the commentator was some kind of presenter for next Amnesia, it lets me believe it was official gameplay.
But sorry for the wrong video. Semms like a custom story.

Does anyone remember how long before Penumbra or Amnesia was released that there was videos/trailers? Just curious. Maybe it would serve as an accurate estimate. I found out about both games after Amnesia had been out for a bit, so, I have no idea.

From what I found on wiki.

* 13th November 2009 - The game was announced (WITH A TRAILER)
* 5th Februrary 2010 - Development.
* 8th September 2010 - Released.

So, from that, we should have had a trailer haha. I would say June time. Want some screenshots first

Just checked Wiki for Machine For Pigs. They have removed elements from TDD and added some new ones, to make a new experience. Not sure what these elements could be. Might be something like the monster spawning.
