I believe that I have a better chance of creating some horror if I obstruct the vision of the player. If the player or a monster steps on the grass it pushes (animates) and makes a sound.. So you are in an area where the lights are randomly flickering, it's dark and your vision is obstructed by vegetation - but you can hear something moving about in the grass, searching for you! Does the grass push away from the player/monster as it moves along? Would be cool to see this grass in action!
