Click the picture again, it changed from China to boreray.

Perhaps all the locations make a triangle and the game takes place in the middle of the triangle? Idea.

Sebatiger, yeah the image updated as well. It's starting to look like a hallway/room, just as I had suspected earlier. It also has some more details -- the lights on the sides definitely resemble torches, and there appears to be a hanging piggy in the center!

i downloaded the tease image 2 from the frictional games website, and put it into GIMP, and used the unsharp mask (which made the image less blurry) and i could see the shadow tissue all across the floor, it seems to be a corridor and at the end, is either a dead hanging pig or a human corpse hanging in a bag. Does anyone else see it?

I think it's not impossible that the game is going to take place in boreray.
Think about it.

- It's an small island could be perfect for outdoor areas and area limitations though i still think that it's going to be instanced.
- Unpopulated
- The island itself got alot of mysticism about it. ''Macauley (1764) reported the existence of five druidic altars in the islands including a large circle of stones fixed perpendicularly in the ground''

I dont know about the china clue though

My guess is, that it's another orb; explaining the shadow tissue around it. Since there were around 10 of them, and 4 were introduced in the original Amnesia, this might aswell be one of the 6 left. Ideas?

Dark Swarm has nothing to do with the new game. The website existed well before Amnesia was even announced and is used as a FTP server for Frictional to store their files on.
