RE: Carrying something in inventory [JENS - NEED HELP PLEASE] - Homicide13 - 10-03-2011 Just have it as an object in the player's inventory, and when they get to the place they need it have them put it down in a specific location (that's obvious) and you can just spawn the item there. RE: Carrying something in inventory [JENS - NEED HELP PLEASE] - GreyFox - 10-03-2011 Why don't you go in the model editor and change it to an "Item" instead of a Object and Name it something else (so you don't get confused) and make it where when you place it down it talkes (where ever on a pedestal like someone suggested) and then after, have it so you can pick it up again. That's how I'd do it.
