I liked that twist that they added ![]() RE: Overture ending? - dph314 - 02-16-2012 No problem ![]() RE: Overture ending? - darkely - 02-16-2012 ^The alternate reality thing I did not really see that coming. How long is Black Plague? because Penumbra: Overture and Amnesia seemed kind of short. RE: Overture ending? - dph314 - 02-16-2012 darkley, better continue this conversation here in this thread or the others will start yelling at me, ha. Clarence is awesome! How can you not like Clarence? RE: Overture ending? - darkely - 02-16-2012 Which thread do we go to talk about this?... RE: Overture ending? - dph314 - 02-16-2012 Black Plague is longer than Overture. I'd say a little shorter than Amnesia though. Close to Amnesia, but possibly shorter. I must have taken my time because I think I was actually an hour or two longer on Black Plague than Amnesia. No, this ones fine. I mean the NextFrictionalGame one isn't the one for this. I think we should be fine here though. RE: Overture ending? - darkely - 02-16-2012 I see. I get that there is an infection and that's why there are these monsters but what I don't get is why I am sharing a body :/. Tell me if I am wrong but from my knowledge Clarence needs me to die (but not by him killing me or suicide for him) in order to take over my body and be free. So I am basically infected but not completely infected? - I know I am babbling but try not to spoil stuff ![]() RE: Overture ending? - dph314 - 02-16-2012 Well, I don't know what to say because I don't want to ruin anything. But I can't really ruin anything since Clarence is speculation. Some have said that it's just Philip starting to lose his mind and that his 'dark side' is manifesting itself in Clarence, representing that humanity deep down is evil. That's what I think the one explanation said I read a while ago. But yeah, I think it's the infection trying to take over. I don't think he needs Philip dead though, because in the case with Tom, we saw that it wouldn't let him kill himself. And he was alone down there for years, so, it must have wanted him alive. But Clarence does try to get Philip killed I guess. |
