I agree with Lee and that review. I was impressed with the visuals, but that was all it had to offer.

What are you doing in the game any way?

Walking and listening to someone talk.

Walking around in a very well crafted environment. Trying to figure out what that someone talks about. Trying to figure out what the stuff around means.

If you analyze it like a game, it is bad.

I just found it rather soothing to just wander around looking, listening and chilling. I will most likely walk through it a couple more times when I feel like it.

Commercial redux of an experiment, rather interesting one.

I feel weird now.

It's not that. I usually like things that other people don't like or even hate; i.e. I like Bioshoch 2 more than the first one. My favorite Silent Hill game is Silent Hill Origins... But seeing "Korsakovia was terrible though" sentence, now I see there are tastes weirder than me.

pretty damn bad
As for as I remember you didn't like the approach from the start, but the review is pretty damn good. I think you should do more for "not 2D platformers".

Environment and ending was nice, but that's all

Looks very interesting. Been wanting to get it since day one.

Dear Esther has really beautyful locations. But I wouldn't call it horror.
The only thing what you can do, is walking.
walking... walking... walking...
And when you walking.... walking... walking... the player gets texting... texting... texting... to himself.
Never palyed such a boring game before, but the locations are really nice!
