I usually default to Lost the Lights simply because its one of my favorites as far as creepy atmosphere is concerned (though be warned, it is very hard). I'd also check out The Abductions/The Abductions 2, both of which are pretty awesome with their atmosphere.

I have been watching some of pewdiepie's videos and the scares are good but some of the maps just aren't very detailed or creative. I know scares are the most important part but I want to see some good atmosphere too.
back to your question, ''deterioration'' has some pretty creative atmosphere and mapping to it. you should check it out sometime ^^

Unsterblich is a good one too for atmosphere since it includes outside and inside environments at night as well as a decent story.

What was released for Subterranea was great. Perfect atmosphere, had me scared to move around in some parts. Snowed In was awesome, not as scary but still awesome.
I can't get my head around White Night, it was well done, but something about the horror really unsettled me. Maybe that makes it perfect, but somehow it was more disturbing than horrific (still, good job Tanshaydar)
