Don't bother, there is always fighting within married couples.
You may think I'm a contrarian but I'm really not. That whole psychopath business was just me addressing points I disagree with, I don't have anything against CrankyOldMan. Will I never live it down? Sad

RE: Brightness - Measuring - 05-31-2012

Default 1.0 is good for me, i think that high brightness kinda destroys the immersion :/ and maps looks quite stupid

RE: Brightness - Adny - 05-31-2012

To respond to OP, I did not for at least the first half of the game. I am a complete idiot that can't read, so I changed the brightness settings to where the block on the left (instead of the one on the right)was barely visible. Got to the dungeon and had to up the brightness, and when I saw my settings and reread it, I did the most epic face palm ever seen.

I set gamma to 0.9 it's the best result for me.
I like it dark, but not unrealistic dark. The default value is little too bright.

Amnesia and Penumbra: Requiem: 0.8
Penumbra: Overture and Black Plague: 0.6

Don't kill me here, but...

I laughed so friggin' hard. How could you not notice before then that the brightness was really, really low?
