Not sure if this matters, but in the messages part, try removing all the spaces before the =. I don't know if that will fix it but worth a shot.
As for everything else I would double check to make sure that everything is named correctly in the editor and scripting. As far as I can tell it looks correct, other than the spaces. I'll continue to look however.

Okay, the messages seemed to be a scripting error which I now fixed. The only problem remaining is the items, which I'm pretty sure I have set up correctly. I'll double check to make sure. Thanks!
I double checked and the item messages weren't working due to a simple capitalization difference! I feel stupid now. Thanks for all of the help! I really appreciate it.
