And none of the latest installments in those series are really that old.
What keeps Valve games good is this thing called ''Valve time'' which in normal people terms would translate into
''Fuck you lot we're only releasing this if it's really really good''

Personally I really like the way Valve does things, and they deserve great kudos for steam, it's the one and only form of DRM I can stand.
