This made my day, big time.

RE: Epic Subtitle Fail - Robby - 09-21-2012

No joke. Fire a subtitler for a tiny mistake? You'll never find a subtitler then.

Get over it... he was probably just a troll, don't take these so seriously

RE: Epic Subtitle Fail - Robby - 09-21-2012

I wasn't taking them seriously.

RE: Epic Subtitle Fail - Zaffre - 09-21-2012

Actually, all subtitles (for flashbacks or otherwise) are in the lang file. This one in specific is used in a .flash (flashback) file to be combined with sounds/voices to give us the cool flashbacks with sounds+subtitles. SNT files are strictly used to edit and modify sound (.ogg) files; the way .flash and .snt files are organized does look similar though.

lolOP.

ownt

In all seriousness though, if you expect a dev team that's first language isn't even English to release an entire game that is full of text and dialogue without making a single grammar error then you have retardedly high standards. I didn't even notice it playing through, and even if I did it wouldn't have hurt my experience, I would have just chuckled a bit and played on.

RE: Epic Subtitle Fail - Zaffre - 09-22-2012

Typical pirate: stupidly high standards, constant complaints, never seeds (hey hey, I only torrent Black Mesa), cheapskate, etc. etc. etc.

Damn it Steam. I need to reinstall my games and they're taking too slow to start.

Something tells me hes too young to even be playing games like this, let alone communicate with the people who made it to begin with.
