I'm sorry to anyone depressed, but I've helped other with their depression and I must say, the time taken to help pick them up, we could've spent that time laughing and play a game or something. There's so much more to look at above you.
Its true, depression comes in various degrees of severity and in bad cases it is actually a real illness, so that it is just not possible for the afflicted person to get over it without medical help. Just like a person with alzheimers who can't simply stop forgetting stuff, a person with severe depression can't simply stop being sad... They'd love to, but in severe cases its just not possible without medical help.So I agree with you that at some point it is better to stay away from someone with depression. There's only so much one can do to help them without the aid of a professional and at some point trying to help a depressed person bears the risk of slipping into depression oneself. I've made that experience and after a while I just had to say that either that person go seek professional help right now, or we would have to stop seeing each other. I just couldn't bear it anymore without suffering psychological damage myself.
ANYWAY, enough with the depressing topic, we're here to talk about confessions!

And even if I had I'd probably be too ashamed to buy it.

I've always been really good "at school" (highest grade in every subject). Now (university) I've been slacking off though, which has resulted in me failing horribly. Hopefully I'll be able to regain my motivation, my graduation will however be delayed another year.
