Chapter Three
Slenderman and Zaffre sat outside the clinic, waiting for the nurse to tell them about the condition of their child. The nurse suddenly came out of the room. She had a depressed look on her face.
-I'm sorry, but the child won't survive...
Zaffre felt his world fall apart. No child feet would tread the floorboards of the cabin they had bought in Austria. WHY? Why did this happen to him? What had he done to deserve such a fate?
Zaffre and Slenderman walked home. None of them spoke. They went to bed without a word.

Zaffre woke up by the sound of slenderman crying and sobbing. He embraced his lover, to remind them both that there was still joy, hope and love in this wretched world.
