RE: THE GTA Thread - Wooderson - 07-10-2013 I'd imagine you'd need a standard i5 Intel Processor, a good amount of RAM, and a great GPU. My i5-2500k Intel Processor cost me about £180 about 1 year and a half ago. RAM in general is pretty cheap... Get top of the line GPU for about £200-£300. With that it should run fine.... Its getting released on PS3 and Xbox 360 first so it wont need the next gen req's to run on a minimum setting. RE: THE GTA Thread - Draug - 07-11-2013 I just played Vice City a looong time ago. At that time it was one of my favourite games.I failed to notice the story of San Andreas and GTA 4 , because I had to much fun to make use of the brilliant cheats. When GTA 5 comes to PC, I will take a look on it. RE: THE GTA Thread - Paddy™ - 07-11-2013 Surpassing even the recommended system requirements doesn't guarantee it'll run smoothly, as anyone who's played GTA IV and its expansions can attest to; the quality and optimisation of the port itself is infinitely more important. Max Payne 3 runs extremely well on the PC though, so hopefully GTA V will too given that it uses largely the same tech. I'm something of a philistine when it comes to massively-popular AAA games but GTA is fantabulous and GTA V is bound to be fantabulouser. A PC version seems a little more likely after reading this: http://www.pcgamer.com/2013/07/09/rockstar-job-listing-hints-at-possible-gta-5-pc-release/ (It'd be lovely if Red Dead Redemption came to the PC, too!) If you're interested GTAV.net has pretty much all of the current media/info about the game. If it doesn't come out on PC, shite shall hit thee fan. RE: THE GTA Thread - Yuhaney - 07-11-2013 Every other GTA so far has been on PC (except handheld versions), so why this wouldn't? |
