RE: Segfault on installation - wari - 04-30-2008 Yes I am, just because compiz does let me navigate the desktop better. I can tell you however, that games like Doom III and World of Warcraft (on wine) does not have these problems. Anyway, I am planning to get this game mid May, just not sure whether to get it for my crappy first gen Macbook Pro, or on my kickass, but seemingly buggy Linux box. Right now however, I'm kicking butt on GTA IV ![]() RE: Segfault on installation - Urkle - 04-30-2008 I've had it happen before even on doom 3 (been using Compiz/beryl for a while myself too, as yes it does help navigate the desktop better). my only quick guess is I have an old SDL in the game distribution.. Try moving it out of the way so the game will use your system install of SDL.. |
