I didn't really see anything im not really understanding what happen because all it is asking me is where to find it and I have it on my desktop so when I put in the desktop path to where it is it says "amnesia tdd.(whatever number) wasent found please insert disk and choose a new path"

Re-install it like when you do it the first time. And let me guess, you used Intel right?

lol I am very confused right now do you think you could walk me through the download setup or maybe redownload your amnesia just to the part where disk 1 shows up and tell me where to put amnesia td _ 1 2 Smile
I forgot how I did it the first time sorry im having tons of trouble

You get the "Setup Needs the Next Disk" error message because you are trying to run the installer from within the ZIP archive. You have to unpack it first.

Inside the amnesia_tdd_1.2.zip, there's a text file with instructions.

UNPACK THIS ZIP FILE BEFORE YOU RUN THE INSTALLER

The file you have downloaded is a zip file, you have to unpack it before you run the installer or else the installer will not find the file containting all the data.

You do this by right-clicking on the zip file and choosing "Extract All..." and follow the instructions.

After extracting the content, click the amnesia_tdd_1.2.exe and the game will be installed without any problems.

yes i promise I bought it I didn't pirate it i don't do that to games, i like supporting the people who make it

well I was told to delete the whole thing (which I did) all ihave left is the installer and could you tell me where to find the zip file im having trouble with all of this

1) Don't use any .exe file to uninstall the game, do that from control panel. Moreover, this has nothing to do with Intel obviously. So, forget what you were told.
2) Don't bump any other similar topics for this issue. You will get replies here only.

Go to frictional games shelf, from where you can download the game. Click the Windows version and save the .zip file at DESKTOP. Then, go to DESKTOP and EXTRACT it using a program such as WinRar. Then, run the setup to begin installation.
