There won't be a retail version. Digital can be money waste. But more easy to buy.

the reason I said that in particular is that every frictional game released to date has had a retail box version. This is kind of just a kick in the nards..

btw though here's my actual support on indie devs (steam only) http://steamdb.info/calculator/?player=MadDoggyca&currency=us

mind of them were on summer/winter sales so at 75% off Im not sure if that classifies as supporting devs when your paying pennys for games

Well, AMFP isn't exactly a Frictional game.

I don't get why people don't buy games at all if their is no boxed version, surely buying the game directly from the devs website will give just as enough support to them right?

RE: Retail Box?? - MadDoggyca - 08-28-2013

don;t mind me for cross the thin line but Ill explain it

People do not buy anything if they can't actually physical touch it. People have the need to say look at what I have.

the other compelling agreement is why pay for the same thing when I can find it else were for free...

Then you have the die hard collectors. (Like Me). I'll buy games I know for a fact I may never play as long as the price is right and I can show it off.

A good but example. You wouldn't want to buy trading cards digital only would you?

examples of digital only buys that goes completely sour. I feel sorry for any one that bought a digital only version of windows for live games. Next year July 4th they won't be able to play them let alone re-download them..

EA is a huge example why digital only sux so much. can't couldn't how many times they killed servers and services.
