All I can add is that I hope FG sticks to their guns and focuses on story and experience (like TCR did) BUT while having a more puzzle adventure-y experience. Sounds a bit contradictory but it can be done.
I really missed puzzles. They could have a well written and story focused experience that's deeply atmospherically scary/disturbing/intense/all of these/whatever/ etc. while the moments of respite are punctuated by well designed puzzles.
