Thank for posting that! It really helped me and fixed mostly of my issue. I'm still having the sound bug though... If I find a way to fix it I'll post it here!!!

You need to install the .sdb file to fix sound bug and other incompatibilities.

Whenever i try to play the main scenario of sh2:dirctors cut a message pop up saying "insert silent hill 2". How can i fix this problem ?
Sorry ! I forgot to mention that i can play the sub-scenario without any problem...my pc is with windows 8.1 64 bits
