Perhaps you did something wrong when you imported the assets. This does not happen to me.
Maybe you should try redoing it?

You should probably import it to a 3D Modelling program (Blender/Autodesk Maya/Autodesk 3ds Max), redo everything, apply Rotation/Location/Scale (In Blender's case) and make sure EVERYTHING is right. After that export it to Amnesia with the correct settings and try again.
