RE: Quick overview on HPL2 Animation - Daemian - 04-23-2014 I see. It is indeed a hard mesh to play with but the others are boring and already rigged. Your link seems broken, so I'll come back later and try again, I'd like to see how you did it and see the differences with mine. (This is how I put the joints) Spoiler below!
After I'm done with the paint-skin thing I'm gonna try to animate see if she can walk. It will look a little weird yeap, cause as you said the model has its legs connected -among other things- But that's one of the things I'd like to learn to do, to fix a given model like this, so her legs can move freely. RE: Quick overview on HPL2 Animation - Traggey - 04-24-2014 Yeah no, the angel statue can not be animated due to how the mesh is built, don't even try ^^ RE: Quick overview on HPL2 Animation - Daemian - 04-24-2014 This girl disagrees with you I rotated around so you can see the results of the split, the mesh got messed up under her butt. I guess that's what you get when you walk off your pedestal. But still good, right? You think I can fix those screwed areas somehow? RE: Quick overview on HPL2 Animation - Traggey - 04-24-2014 Well if you edit it you can obviously make it work, but in its normal form it won't, I used her as a basemesh for a monster I made ages ago myself. RE: Quick overview on HPL2 Animation - JonnyAnomaly - 06-04-2014 Thank you for this video... after scouring the forum for every thread of info and spending all night trying to get it to work myself, its great to see it demonstrated in a video. The last time I tried to get my animations to work was for some simple trees and foliage movement to simulate wind... maybe now I can try again ![]() |
