RE: Maya. Need some help... - Mudbill - 10-20-2014 That doesn't matter. You might have missed that the page has the plugin for both Mac and Windows. Just make sure you get the bit version of your OS/Maya. RE: Maya. Need some help... - Amnesiaplayer - 10-20-2014 I mean there is no 2014 version (64x) RE: Maya. Need some help... - Mudbill - 10-20-2014 But I'm pretty sure both 2012 and 2013 versions are available on their site in addition to 2014. This just means you don't need to use the 2011 version, but 2014 might still not be supported. RE: Maya. Need some help... - Amnesiaplayer - 10-20-2014 ![]() Amnesia... my map is.... gone so i'm just making models for fun ![]() RE: Maya. I thought I was going to have to wait for Soma to release with its tools. Also, I recently installed Maya 2012 and 2011 was no longer listed under the versions available to students... It was 2012 and up since I downloaded it. So this is excellent news. I'll have to try it out sometime. <3 Thank you Acies! RE: Maya. Need some help... - Mudbill - 10-24-2014 Perhaps we should get this updated information to the wiki. I can give it a go, but I don't have Maya at my fingertips at the moment. Edit: Okay, I created this page now. Can someone look over it and verify it? I wrote it purely from memory. Also, I could not add an image to it. I would embed this one if I could. It denied me permission to upload it and I couldn't find any hyperlink embeds. RE: Maya. Need some help... - Statyk - 10-24-2014 I suggest, for convenience, adding a hyperlink to the dds plugins for photoshop and gimp under the "How to Export your Model" section. links Photoshop: https://developer.nvidia.com/nvidia-texture-tools-adobe-photoshop Gimp: https://code.google.com/p/gimp-dds/#Downloads The gimp one is really weird. The downloads are small links on the left side of the screen. RE: Maya. Need some help... - Mudbill - 10-25-2014 Alright, I added those links there. Also fixed the plugin enabling, since I was very unsure about it and it turned out to be slightly off (Sub menus and names of windows). RE: Maya. Need some help... - TheGreatCthulhu - 10-27-2014 @Mudbill About the image: I managed to upload it using the DW Editor (the Dokuwiki code editor), since the image upload dialog from there enabled me to choose something other than the root ("/") for the upload location. See if the page looks as you intended now. P.S. If you want to revert to an older revision, open the target revision, enter edit mode, and just save. RE: Maya. Need some help... - Mudbill - 10-27-2014 That's fine, thank you ![]() |
