I too think it could get hard for FG to reach the sales numbers of Amnesia again, the reason being that the focus of SOMA will lie more on effective story-telling and intellectual philosophical questions and less on raw horror (at least a not as easily approachable type of horror as in Amnesia).

On the other hand, a lot more people know about FG today than back when Amnesia was released. And we shouldn't forget the big marketing campaign coming for SOMA (that Amnesia practically didn't have at all), the teasers and the feature film.

I also wonder how AAMFP fared against Amnesia in terms of sales. Too bad they never disclosed any numbers (they did pretty often for Amnesia). With the moderate press they got I wouldn't be surprised if they initially hoped to sell more.
