But when you sometimes go into another section or room, or pick up some object your vision gets orange, that means that the artefacts only help the infection grow faster.

Those are rumours. Please redirect me to the ini-file telling my game I have saved so that I may undo it and get this alternate ending.

If he wasn´t infected from the moment he first entered the mine, then he probably was infected by the saving artifacts.

And if not that, he was definitely infected when he entered that excavation site which had turned the miners crazy.

Once I found out it was her, I reloaded to see what would happen if you didn't hurt her. I guess she hugs you to death or something

She was a TG (hence disabled video feed) and clarence made it appear that she WASN'T once you killed it. After all he can't hurt you, so you'd know what was and wasn't fake

Also: In the Bp there are diagrams, the description reads for one of a human body "Theres a red circle around the spine (or was it head?) possible infection point"

additionally there are the xrays which show a weird anomaly in the spine of human.

I dunno, Clarence has a lot of power over your perceptions.

He completely shuts off your senses at one point, and hides a door too. My guess is that he made you interpret Amabel's hug as an attack and fooled your body into dying, placebo-style.
