+ 1

Anyone who buys there game based on a Opinion of another is dumb. Esp when a demo is out. But I know alot of people cant make up there own mind so they go to reviews. Which is kinda sad Confused

I read reviews only to get a general idea of what the game is like, I don't really care what the guy writing it thinks about the game.

FANTASTIC!!! This is great news!! Even if you personally don't care for IGN, getting an early review out with this kind of score is a great indication the game is as fantastic as we all want it to be AND it's getting great press! Word of mouth people! Spread the love!

It depends on the reviewer and the type of game. If Yahtzee likes an RPG, I'll probably listen to what he has to say, because I think we agree on what should be in an RPG. I would probably discount his opinions on FPS, though.

Ebert, for example, is someone I cannot pay any attention to when it comes to sci-fi films, because I have hated many sci-fi films that he hated and liked too many sci-fi films that he hated.

IGN Reader Score
22 ratings 6.8

This is odd, clearly people are pulling things out of their @$$ or basing it on the demo (none of them could be arsed to actually write why they scored it low).
