Have the same problem got an ati radeon x1650.
Took forever just to get into game with all the little tweaking I had to do only to have the menu's mess up.
Tried everything I can think of but I'm wondering if there is anything else I can do? Like deleting files or messing around with dll's?
Yes I've already did everything posted here and tried a few things that weren't. Just trying to figure out why it's just the menu's giving trouble though.
Game looks great which makes me want it to work even more.
Huge fan of the Penumbra series and looking forward to this game as well.
sigh...Knew I should have went with nvidia...
Black Plague scared the crap out of me at times.

I have the problem with TAB too sadly
Am gonna try couple of stuff now....
i have ati x1650 pro can someone with this card tell me on which settings you play the game and on what fps ??

Same Problem here.
My graphics card is also a ATI Radeon X1950GT Super.
I'll post my hpl.log in case if this helps you.
And this game could be one of the best/scariest horror-games ever (well Penumbra set a very high standard^^)

And i have this bug with a ATI Radeon 9600 Pro (PowerColor Edition 256 Mb) My lantern`s oil is 0% ...Empty ... I open the invertory ...What happens ...Ctrl+Alt+Delete (So task manager and) ``Amnesia - The Dark Descent...Not Respond (Sorry For my bad English)
