RE: 2007-01 Monday 15th, Video Diary 2 - Guest - 01-16-2007 Quote:Lets pick up this canister, and hit it on the head. What part of that did you not like? And did the dog howling call upon another dogs to come help it out? Very cool, finially got something to look forward too in April. Loved the whole "can't look at your enemy for too long" effect, sure to change the generic gameplay of peek around a corner, wait till enemy moves, now go. RE: 2007-01 Monday 15th, Video Diary 2 - Thomas - 01-16-2007 We are trying to slowly start of the "guerilla marketting" now so if you are reading this, please post the video on forums you freuqent and send it as news to game websites that you visit. I'll probably die a lot since I'm not used to games like this haha, or I'll be too scared to run around fast. That's how I play Thief (and how I played the Penumbra tech demo, incidentally). I play without saving so I have to be extra cautious and take everything with very careful planning and timing. It takes a long while to complete a mission, but it adds so much to the tension. o.o; RE: 2007-01 Monday 15th, Video Diary 2 - Jusal - 01-17-2007 I added the Penumbra banner to my signature on a couple of forums. And yes. If the sneaking in Penumbra is going to be as good as it is in Thief series... Excellent. I just remember playing the penumbra tech demo at like 3 in the morning, was too freaked out to rush around anyway haha. And penumbra will definitely be a game to go slower in. Excellent.I wonder if the enemies in Penumbra will have different levels of awareness like the guards in Thief series had (as explained here). I think such system would suit well for a first-person-sneaker like Penumbra.
