RE: Poor performance on an awesome machine - gargfump - 11-05-2010 well this seems to be present in the BIG BUG thread : FRAMES-PER-SECOND ISSUES STILL NEEDS TESTING (1.0.1) Vanilla * Occasional drop in frames-per-second when entering the Escape menus or when resuming the game. however i'd like to add that this issue renders the game near unplayable. Since it's not just a little drop in fps, but slows it down to like 5 fps after a while, and it becomes a difficulty to try and move then cursor around to exit the game. Oh and to the last poster, this is literally the first problem i've had with ANY game so far. RE: Poor performance on an awesome machine - Ciaomajstr - 11-14-2010 Hi, i have the same problem.... Intel core i7 920 2.66 ghz 6Gb of ram nVidia gtx 260 core 216... when i first started the game i had everything on high and the game ran perfectly on 60+fps. The next day i wanted to play on the same settings as before and it started to lag so badly and fps are below 20 most of the time. Anybody knows the solution??? |
